Win, Re: your remarks to Tony

I disagree strongly with this idea. I appreciate most of Tony's posts here (and on the Intel thread) even though lately Tony has become somewhat less cordial, probably in response to a general drop in the level of courtesy given him. If you no longer wish to see Tony's posting then SI has the Ignore feature. I think we have lost some useful contributors of either technical information or constructive criticism simply because they have a different opinion and this is a real loss.

Re: while you were at it, Tony.

While we all have our moments (and that certainly includes me!), I think Tony often makes very insightful posts and would hate to see him leave.

This thread has a tendency to get awfully enthusiastic, at times. A little skepticism is a good thing.

:-)

Let me butt in here,

While I know you were not really serious in your post, I think it is in bad taste to ask someone like Tony (or anyone) not to post here.

Mike is definitely not an Intel fan and he is biased toward AMD. Nothing wrong with that. He gets some right, he misses some. I would have no problem you defending his story but your post was really not in the spirit of this thread.

Tony and Tench are among the few civil folks on this thread biased toward Intel. This thread would not be better off without them.

Also I have not been reading all the post (how could you??!!), but it seems that this thread continues to do what it was suppose to. I for one think it has helped me to continue to make better investment decision.
