Zeev
My trading system is based on "what the current trend is".
That trend is UP, until proven other wise.
You can talk about the "future" all you want,
but the fact is the "current trend is UP".

If the trend turns down, then my trading system will
adjust to that fact.

Zeev, do you think that the p?c ratio and vix reflect a decrease in volatility rather than a lack of fear or hope of a down market-- looking at the number of puts and call for applied materials, say in December as compared to now they are both decreased ; but if the value of an options contract has decreased and the options player can not make a big score; then it is not a bet on market direction( a contrary indicator) but an indicator of volatility; and the value of these indicators may not be worth as much in this market-- R S
In Edit<G> do you think that a general decrease in volume can cause more extreme readings give the mathematical compositon of the trin-- since the number of stocks stay the same but changes in volume cause greater changes and perhaps an increase in negative volume gives a higher reading than it would in "normal times"
