ndbfree: Thanks a lot for that link--ML Free Space Optics. (Pulling the leg of Greg) I do believe I learned even more about the subject than was found on the MRV websites.... I learned about the technologies, limitations, potential customers, equipment suppliers versus service providers,who were the key players, and differing strategies, differing bandwidths and ranges. Everything you wanted to know about FSO but......... Hot damn! Yes, Virginia, there IS a Santa Claus! Who wouda thunk it would be ML? Namaste! Jim

Thanks All. It's been a great FSO weekend... I feel much better informed about the FSO alliance and the competition. We should be hearing a lot more from Mr. Achour in the coming months. The ML link provided an excellent summary, and certainly cast OPXS in a favorable light. After all I've read, it seems unlikely that OPXS will be one of the future liquidation events... but who knows. Seems like selling the stake in hyporium would make a lot more sense.
