neocn, Yes religion can be use if it surrounds itself with ritual and by so doing attmpts to validate itself. the state can marry and does. In the absence of any proof to the contrary and stand on faith thatn there is no god or true religion. Many religions are practised, and cloak themselves in good acyions and causes to hide the basic grud for cash and control that is at their heart. You can even creat a fake religion and let it loose to live and prosper. L R Hubbard did that. Bill Bill
