neo, There is strong coercion in small towns, esp in the south and in muslim countries and communities.
Coercion subsides in diverse cities but exists in racial groups within the city for assorted religions.
Many groups practice discrimination in that they try to coerce marriage within the faith of the children. There have been a dozen murders in the past few years for this reason alone in the Toronto area, parents who kill their kids instead of allowing them this basic freedom.
Recently in Nepal a son who was under family pressure to marry a certain person killed hisself and a number of others, he was the potential king of Nepal.

Now what we need is a religious buffet, you get to pick what you want and make up your own religion.
Take 100 aspects, that should make for a number of splinter groups
