"and it's about to get worse" It could get worse -- in a way I hope it does. Japan is close to "capitulation" on the corporatist model that they are trapped inside. If their stock prices break. If their land values are crushed. If their banks are destroyed. If their system is smashed, then the spirit of the Japanese people will be free to emerge anew. And if that is what is happening, buy Japan. Do not ever underestimate their ability as people. Young Japanese people are lost, deeply confused and searching for something they don't have -- themselves. I suspect that what you see out of Japan in the next ten years will be shocking -- it will make the sixties in the US look like a small inter-generational shift. Japan is like an egg -- the shell has cracked and we cannot see yet what is inside but something new is being born -- brace yourself.
