<<30% Market Share by Year End>> The president of AMD Japan said a few weeks back that he expected 30% market share in Japan by the the end of 01. Notice that the guy made the statement in the article is AMD's Far East guy and most likely the guy meant 30% market share in Far East(exclude Japan). The reporter somehow did not make the distinction of Far East Vs. worldwide. Both Jerry and Hector thought that 30% in 2001 is unlikely and they talked about worldwide market share.
