Neo, in your current and past discussions of Israeli politics I don't recall seeing mentioned the fact that the Hasidim long ago managed to get an exemption from military service--something every other citizen is obligated to perform. The irony is that the most vocal militant sector, those most antagonistic to Palestinians and Arabs in general, who would presume to dictate military policy, do not themselves serve...something that breeds considerable internal resentment.
