why should the market rally on fundamentals

Touche. Just curious on your thoughts. I guess I keep expecting an intervening event to see the markets really unfold. It seems the market participants threshold for economic pain is endless and a real killshot is the only thing that will bring some of the valutions back in line.
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised though, this has just been a slow grind for the most so far and there is no reason the grinding action can't just continue, particuliarly when AG is being so agreeable with his policy. To answer your question though, the market, IMO, is more likely to rally on any favorable economic good news(however fleeting) because the bulk of participants are predisposed to UP and are certainly willing to buy on bad news (as we've seen) so even a glint of recovery would most likely send them into a frenzy. That is what I am hoping anyway. I'm prepared for either situation, but I think my scenario is certainly plausible, no?
