" Yes! I agree completely. Basically, this thread is frequently a great source of information. But the actual stock price doesn't move until Wall Street becomes aware of it, and Wall Street doesn't read this thread. If Wall Street did read this thread, you'd have to have lightening fast reflexes to make money from it, just like you have to have in order to make money from playing news sources that the Street does read. That Wall Street doesn't read this thread has been proved numerous times by precisely the posts that brought to light the "things of great import re RMBS" that you refer to. Of course I remember the posts I made along that line (and do note that the vast majority of my posts do not make any immediate and direct prediction about the stock price, and, in addition, I have several times called buying opportunities in RMBS). I missed predicting the fraud verdict, since I couldn't analyze the juror's thoughts on the subject, but it was easy to analyze the Judge's thoughts by taking his Markman Memorandum apart: Bilow, May 4, 2001... For the above reason, it is pretty clear that the judge ends this trial with a finding that Infineon didn't infringe as a matter of law. He now has both briefs, but I don't know when he will make his ruling. But this could come at any time, and it will likely be presaged by his stating that he intends on doing it before he actually does it. You will very likely find it profitable to clean, test and use your sell button . #reply-#reply-15754091 Also, when the Markman ruling came out, it was discussed on this thread before Wall Street read about it. Everyone here knew that it was going to crater the stock, (though some likely would not publicly admit it), and readers of this thread had an opportunity to get out the next morning almost flat. In fact, the bus was trading up in Germany: John Walliker, March 15, 2001, 4:15AM Carl, I don't understand - RMBS is trading at 39.8 Euro - up 7.57% #reply-15506641 #reply-15509389 -- Carl
