Huh? The cable internet service is provided by the same company that is the cable TV service. Why wouldn't the same cable be used?

my cable company is Cox ....

I designed and built the house little over 20 years ago ...ran co-ax, telephone, and a six strand wire into all rooms ...

when I hooked up cable internet last year, the same wires were used, nothing new needed ...

sure has saved a bunch of time and worry over the years as I've used the six strand stuff for intercoms, stereo speakers, room noise checkers (back when we had lil folks in cribs), and a few other things ....

hey ... wish now I'd run fiber optic and CAT 5, too ....... hehehehe
