Can you tell me what Domestic Debt/GDP 3Yr Incremental Dollar is? Does private Debt include corporate debt?

If I'm guessing correctly, the second chart is saying that households in aggregate have taken on debt faster than their income has grown. This says nothing about how much debt they had prior to the period in question nor their ability to carry their debt load today.

From the text describing the second chart, anytime the number is below $1, the consumer is actually paying down debt.

The third chart- $1 means corporations have borrowed the same amount as GDP for that period- greater than $1 means they've borrowed more than GDP?

Presumably, if you added the last two charts, you might expect to see the first chart, yet on initial inspection, they don't. There must be some element of Private Debt unaccounted for.

BTW- a direct, non gold-eagle link to the same material
