Guess I should memorize instead of calculate.

The actual stated die size is 81mm2.

I came up with 82mm2 from my memory of the die size of K6-2 being 20% larger than Little Foot @ 68mm2.

A second calculation however, would have resulted in the right die size. I also remember that the die size of K6-2 is half the 162mm2 original die size of K6.

Perhaps you were looking at the 8.8 million transistors of K6 or the 88mm2 die size of WinChip.
