Yes here in the Chehalis Gap we don't get Seattle's weather and we don't get Portland's weather. It is usually a bit warmer than Seattle and we don't get the rain that you get because of the Sound. I have raised gardens too and think that it is the way to go. A toasted tom sandwich is to toast the bread, spread it with mayo and sliced tomatoes and eat. I could live on those all summer long. Or put cukes in place of the tomatoes.

No - you need the "kitchen sink tomato sandwich". There is nothing like it - the best thing about summer!
