Just two or three days ago a British newspaper reported that fairly simple cell-phone technology can be used to thwart the invisibility of our Stealth planes. Spending more than $100 on a Star Wars system is a waste of money, in my opinion. As soon as we devise a system, there'll be a way found to thwart it, be it stealth warheads or portable A-bombs or any number of other options. The answer lies in effective diplomacy, not in creating a 21st century high-tech Maginot Line.
