Sector, Greg, thanks for the running updates... re the patent matter that was posted on Yahoo - something is very wrong in his analysis. He said "The LightPointe US Patent has an earliest filing date of August 24, 1998. It is now nearly 38 months after that date, and the publically available search tools I checked do not indicate that there are any issued or pending, foreign equivalents - they should have shown up at about 30-32 months." Excuse me but 38 months after August 24, 1998 hasn't happened yet - that would be October 24, 2001 (am I the only one who spotted that little detail???). If August 1998 is correct then today is 33 2/3 months later and so the "issued or pending foreign equivalents" are only slightly overdue in showing up if 30-32 months is correct. But the real issue is whether the technologies are similar or different, IMHO. that remains to be seen. Dee Jay
