The idea belongs to asenna1 who so kindly tried to help me. His directions were excellent i had no problem following them and I have a large literacy block computer wise.

ps: one suggestion...save the images as .gif (a lot smaller file size)

That is a very good idea i was unable to send screen shots as a batch.

tc and Mark,

Here's the follow up to the Excel question I posted. Referenced - Message 15930913

I went to allexperts.com which was within one of the links tc directed me toward. I asked the question of one of the many Excel experts registered there. Got a reply the next morning. The solution was no better than my own inelegant workaround, but to be fair, I don't think there is an answer to my question without VBA programming. So I wrote a macro that goes through the steps seemingly instantly. That is instantly except for the prompts that would come up each time. Sent the expert a follow up specific question about eliminating the prompting. He answered within a few hours and the solution worked perfectly. Overall it was a very positive experience.

I hope this free site keeps operating. There are experts covering an amazing array of subjects, including some favorite Computer Learning thread themes.
