I found the vote on withholding funds to schools that ban the Boy Scouts VERY interesting It was definitely interesting. I checked in part way through. They have issues about whether it's redundant, whether it's constitutional, whether it opens up a can of worms for admitting all sorts of undesirable groups. They spent a lot of time on it for what was essentially a political statement. One senator, can't recall who, stood up and fussed at how long it was taking and how he wanted the Senate to adjourn so he wouldn't have to miss his son's Boy Scout camping trip this weekend. We definitely haven't heard the last of this. Karen
