fyo, Our ADSL is a bit slower and if you use heavily then you pay a data transfer, whereas cable doesn't(unless you supremely abuse it). Do you pay data transfer after 5-6 GIG?

It's funny the ADSL rates are all over the place from less than $20 to around 130 per month. I don't know how they calculate it , but it's pretty confusing keeping track of it all. Cable on the other hand has been basically the same price for the last 5 years.

I sure don't miss getting those busy signals and being arbitrarily disconnected by the old dial-up modem. :-)

Thanks for the tip on the inbox system, I thought I had switched off my filing of the posts. I'll try to jot the post #s down on paper so I can get back to others easier.
I miss not having them there until I delete them.
