Tell me again how you were gone for a week before you were attacked? You seem to have a persecution complex, and cannot see what you bring to the problem. I noticed a couple of posts of yours that were out of the blue and still complaining, so I piped in.

I dropped the subject about a week ago...

And yet ...

... the only way to put a stop to this is to counter.

So, how's that working for you?

"It is better to keep your silence and be thought a fool, than to open your yap and remove all doubt." If you'd just cool off, this will wind down. If you start contributing actual jokes, rather than stand outside and offer your judgement on what is humor, you might actually see it die down faster.

If your only contribution to this thread is "stop poking me!" then guess what, you're going to get poked. This is a laughter thread. Like another poster alluded, we can laugh with you, but barring that, we will laugh at you. Take your pick. Laugh, or go home.

Right now I'm laughing pretty hard at your trying to be taken seriously. Keep countering! We need the laughs!

Ever heard the saying, if you fight fire with fire, you get a bigger fire?
Pull in your chin man, let it go :)

OJ (a repeat probably)

Q: What is the difference between an Irish wedding and an Irish funeral?

A:One less drunk at the funeral!

You could choose to ignore it, but your continued replies are only stirring the pot. Let it die, there will be a few more posts and it will fade. Put on ignore any PM'ers and you'll be able to spend your time a bit more laid back. Just a suggestion.

Now back to the jokes.
