Robert, Our trip is to Melbourne and we will use it as our "home away from home" while we are there. We will camp out at the Carlton Crest Hotel. Now don't tell me it is a Motel Six. <ggg> We plan on going to a couple of small communities for a few days to spend some time getting to know the local culture. David Stern, here on SI gave me a list of places within a couple or so driving hours from Melbourne to visit. If you have some suggestions I would be interested. The requirements are no tourist traps, small community with an Inn and good food, and friendly people. Joan
