"She still managed to run the show from behind the throne." That's important to a Republican man. Most can't handle a strong female. They need the little woman to know her place!! The day after Walter Mondale picked Geraldine Ferraro as his running mate, Reagan appeared on TV with the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders. It was obvious to me what kind of man he was appealing to with that backdrop. It's no coincidence that the Republican House voted to give men health insurance coverage for Viagra and voted to take away a woman's coverage for birth control.( with regard to federal employees).
