Mark: Reguardless of insiders, institutions are buying like crazy.

AMD already has the highest institutional ownership (at 81% of float) of any if the tech stocks I could come up with, bar NVDA (92%). Virtually all the others (SUNW, IBM, DELL, MOT, ATYT, CSCO, INTC etc) are at ~ 50% or less.

Is the high institutional ownership good or bad for the ordinary investor?

Does it contribute to the volatility of the stock? stability? neither?

What about the high insider ownership?
