I wouldn't think of it that way.
(option) MM's just follow the lead of where trades are put on or off. sometimes it's convenient to think of this as some kind of conspiracy to gravitate towards a particular strike or combo of strikes.
of course as you know, the pros are not beyond "goosing" the mkts in one direction or another ;-)

so I haven't followed that closely, but did the CLX signal a sell so someone following it could have seen this impending 38% retrace from the recent high? just trying to figure out if it's worth spending time picking it up to help gauge short to intermediate term swings. TIA.
