As I have always assumed: Liberals miss the true distinction, which is pro individual liberty vs anti-individual liberty. If enough of them realized they are philosophically closer to Mc Veigh, the skinheads, American Nazi's, etc., they might actually overcome their emotion-driven ideology, start to reason, and stop being liberals. But part of the FUN of being liberal is "feeling" instead of thinking. So I doubt there's a cure...
