The ladies RULE -- if she says no, that'd be the end of it, IMO.

What kind of put would you use to hedge the value of your house? What companies and industries
best correlate negatively with the price of housing? A little over 2 years ago, we bought a vacation
house on Cape Cod. The assessed value has increased by 50% while a friend who is now looking for
a home in the same town has told us that based on what she has seen, the value of our house has
inflated by at least 2-fold in that time period. I'm not sure whether these houses are selling or if this is
simply an asking price and nothing is selling. I would still be happy even if the market takes it back down
to a 50% increase and we don't want to sell. I would however, be interested in hedging against a large hit in
the housing market.
