I don't know of an index that tracks value stocks. Such an index would have to be adjusted much more frequently than the Dow or Nasdaq. These mutual funds might offer some insight into value stocks overperforming relative to market, as described.

I remembered Russell has value indexes, but was unable to graph them until I used the stockcharts site you linked.
