Did you know the Democrats who left Washington went in great majority to academia and public interest? Very few became lobbyists- not like the rush to lucre after papa Bush's admin left town. Well, of course. You can wear blue jeans in academia but you need a suit to be a lobbyist. was that what that columnist had in mind when he mentioned integrity? What he had in mind, IMO, was merely to establishes has bona fides as a good Republican before dumping on Dubya about the Administration's apparent inclination towards big government. Big government on the left. Big government on the right... I remember when the Reps were trying to abolish the Department of Education. Have you had a chance to look at the education legislation? While watching the Senate debate I heard some anti-mainstreaming discussion but I haven't seen where the bill ended up. Karen
