Only the Clinton-types start aggressive, unnecessary wars. It is our duty as citizens of a free republic to make sure the horrible power of the United States is never again turned over to such an inferior and fevered mind. And that duty is far too important to be left to illiterates who sell their votes for packs of cigarettes...

Dear Nadine, >>>>>>Aside from making billions of dollars for defense contractors.
It seems to me that most of the money paid on defense contracts ends up paying for Salaries of employees of defense contractors. Then a big chunk go to the suppliers of material for the defense projects. Of the chunk for the supplies most goes to the employees of suppliers to make the supplies.

As to first strike capability, the Missile defense system has no impact on America's first strike capability. I doubt the anyone other than vacant liberal minds have thought much about America's first strike capability. I'm concerned with the lack of any ability against a first strike against America.
