I'd support "compassionate conservatism" over liberalism I don't know about that. It's like being asked if you want a seat on the left or the right side of the aisle on the Hindenburg. I don't see all that much difference, particularly after these initiatives work their way through the legislative maw. Actually, we might be better off letting the libs take the initiative because the conservatives will vote those down. When compassionate conservatives take the initiative, the bills pass because the libs figure it's better than nothing. Karen
