Cary, what do you think of the fact that Novellus is within 25% of its all time high? It certainly is out of keeping with the rest of the industry. Any idea what's driving that?

Cary

AMAT, ASML,KLAC, NVLS - leaders in a fundamental technology industry with "impossible" boundaries to entry.

Why would you not include LRCX in that list? They sure seem to have an impressive management team and seem to be leaders in several technologies, especially etch. Is it because AMAT and NVLS are proven over a longer term?

I've done really well with LRCX but wonder if they can continue their great performance or will the larger AMAT (which I also own) eventually be too strong to overcome? One person I respect believes this and choose a career at AMAT rather than LRCX though both of us still own stock in both companies.

Thanks
Kirk out

Cary, Thanks for your inputs. I agree that these groups look very solid long term. I own AMAT and ALTR.
