you have it totally ass backwards. when you factor in PPP chinese require less money for the basic things, not more.

you don't know what you're talking about. if china doesn't have any discretionary money to spend how come they save 1/3 of their income?!? how come the government is encouraging almost $1 trillion investment from it's citizens into the stock market? where is that money going to come from? why are 32% of chinese families planning on purchasing a car in the next few years if they had no realistic expectation they could ever afford it?
