Hey Frank,

Remeber how dull looking our money was back then comparatively speaking ? Maybe there is a correlation between value and appearance ? Oh! and the coins had real silver in them then ! My uncle saved up thousands of dollars worth before the new alloy money was instituted.

Small world... I used to deliver both the Free Press and Tribune [Winnepeg...er... Winterpeg] down in the Whiteshell forest preserve, remember parity one summer... was bummed as my clownbuck didn't get the extra nickel!
