GV, re TMTA

I wonder if Osha's stock universe will lose its last Buy-rated stock.

Didn't the CEO say that things were on track last week?

GV, <TMTA is cutting their guidance>

This is just one week after TMTA said Q2 revs would be flat or slightly higher than Q1:

biz.yahoo.com

Could it be a huge flood of order cancellations, just like Infineon? Something smells very fishy here. Got any thoughts, GV?

EDIT: Thanks to survivin on the Mod AMD Thread for the reference.

GV - Re: "TMTA is cutting their guidance. They now see revenues down sequentially 40-45% and will take an inventory charge. Boy, Osha is really gonna hate INTC after he reads this. "

Was Merrill the lead IPO underwriter for TransMeta?

I know Morgan Stanley was in on it as well.

GV, re: Boy, Osha is really gonna hate INTC after he reads this.

It appears that Osha is now rating actual microprocessors as well as stocks.

"Demand for small/light form factor notebooks
should continue to grow, and Transmeta has
the best microprocessors
for the market." [emphasis added]

In addition it appears that Osha is stating the supposed superiority as fact rather than opinion.
