Justa,

>>>> . But I surprised that you are inclined to go short without a sell signal first. It seems you have decided that the next rally will fail no matter what. But what is the risk/reward of shorting before you get a sell signal especially with an oversold market like we have here? And what would be you exit strategy? Would you be waiting for a Class One Buy as an exit or a oversold reading? And would you act on such on a Class One buy signal should that appear when you cover? <<<<

The main reason I advise my cash position is for a better understanding of how strong my position is on a certain play. I plan on opening small USPIX positions once my short-term technicals get to the midrange/upper-midrange. I would probably start with a 5% position and continue to add on if the NDX continues up. Since Im now 96% cash, that would mean I have 18 more 5% positions if things go wrong. Also, I am working on alot of profits, so starting a small short position in the mid-range is not really all that bearish of a play.

I would wait for a CLASS BUY signal to get out, since the probability of getting a CLASS BUY signal is quite good in light of the negativity. As for buying on a CLASS 1 signal, its too early to say. I leave the predicting to others, I just watch for signs and play the odds on them as they develop.

For a trade for longer-term?
