Very good dialogue. My two cents worth:

1) If you are a contrarian, you should be considering buying. EXDS, L3, Qwest, SBC are all having problems.

2) Who are going to be survivors? Whoevever they are, they will emerge stronger. My bet is that WCOM will be one of the survivors. It may take a couple of years for them to emerge, but I believe they will.

Should you or I hang in or sell. This is in fact a question I have asked also.

It's pretty obvious that I would not be a buyer at this point---because I don't want to wait 2 years for recovery. Nor have the charts confirmed that I should buy. The long term moving average lines are still declining slightly which is not comfortable with this stock.

For young people ----WCOM is a stock to consider and to wait on for several years. Another possibility is to buy call options which expire several years out---they can be bought now for pennies---hence if WCOM has a future in several years then the call options would be worth more.

Another person ask about adding to their 100 shares bought at 43. If you don't need the money and can wait after adding more, you might want to add some in the next few months imo.

Also, if you aren't diversified in the market----might look for other opportunities and hold your WCOM.

This is a very tough market just now. So I simply exercise a lot of caution.

Also, I am not always so forward with comments---so don't take my writing as advice. It is for dialogue only.
