Problem is it is still hard to release a salmon from a boat in the ocean without hurting the fish. Very slippery and active.

You know, they make these gloves to use for just that purpose. Also they make this tool to hook the fish on its lower lip that supposedly doesn’t hurt the fish at all. I’ve been thinking of picking these things up, but haven’t done it yet.
