I know this is not INTC or AMD thread but what is your feeling about processor prices. From the pricing listed in the following link, Intel is going for the jugular of AMD VIA and Transmeta. The latter is apparently is admiting today that Intels price cuts are affecting it.

My only comment on CPU pricing is that Intel is selling all levels of laptop, home, business and server CPUs at pricing levels much below tradtional price points even those seen even 3 months ago. Speeds of CPU are going up according to Moores law but they are getting 20-30% less across the board at any speed rating.

The take home story is if they are going to have to post reduced revenues of 20-30% this quarter they are going to try to do the most damage to AMD as possible at the same time.
