Without commenting on the substance of your post, the above figure is actually incorrect. an 80% loss would be counterbalanced by a 400% gain.

Thanks for the info on option credit spreads! I had never heard of them before. I'm curious, do you feel that they are a wiser choice than CC's in most markets, or just bear markets such as the one we've been in up to now?
