A liberal bends the rules to meet his own requirements. There is no black and white, only gray. And after a while, the gray fades into a moral indistinction between "consensual" sex between adults and sexual assault of near-child. If my 20-year old daughter was treated the way this 21-year old was, I'd want to the SOB tried for rape. In my mind it would take a sick person not to see it that way. Monica was not a "near child". Neither is your daughter any more, they are both adults. Do you try to shield your daughter from men? Is it the fact that Bill was Monica's boss (not even directly but many levels higher) the problem in your mind or is it the fact he was much older? If a 20 year old has an affair with a 50 year old is it automatically sexual assault? If a 35 year old woman desires her boss and has sex with him is it rape? Howabout if a 35 year old man has sex with his female boss? I am not a "no black and white everything is shades of grey" person. But this was not rape, it has none of the charecteristics of rape and did not resemble rape in any way. I'm not saying it was moral or wise, but people can have immoral and foolish sex without it being rape. Tim

He was president and I think should have been at a minimum more discreet More Discreet?!? Did you say more discreet?!? Jeez. How could you possibly do MORE to condone his activity? Excuse me but what Clinton does sexually is only his and Hillary's biz.....not yours, nor mine. Stop with your petty gossiping and deal with it! Besides, I'd rather have the president foolin' with cigars than drivin' drunk. Clinton said his would be the most ethical presidency in history. Part of "ethics" is settings standards beyond even an appearance of impropriety. Yet, we got the most corrupt presidency in our lifetimes. Only by your arbitrary and very flexible standards. Not only was the administration ethically bankrupt, it was morally bankrupt. Not a shred of decency, anywhere to be found. Not a single substantial accomplishment you can point to. Again, there were some amazing accomplishments under Clinton that you seem to be in denial over...that's something you need to work out with someone your trust.
