He is now fighting for his reputation & legacy/history...nothing else. If he cared about shareholders (where's the BOD anyway?) he would replace himself as soon as possible with some management skilled in handling these situations. Given his many confirmation/warning cycles, it's clear he is not the right person. They need someone that can restructure the company (not just hunder down) and focus on its core business (or sell itself as appropriate). These guys exist for shareholders, not the other way around. The worst thing this company could do is let Roth spend a year trying to salvage his reputation... That's a recipe for disaster, imo.
