One comment on todays downward earnings revisions.

This may well be perceived as more supportive of natural gas prices thus E&P could benefit ie less drilling less gas. Just trying to see the forest for the trees.

Rig counts this AM

Gas rigs up 21 and oil down 11. Oil/gas ratio now 16.5% vs.83.5%.

GOM was down 4 which might reflect softening jackup demand.
