Hate to bust your bubble but the GOP moderate are NRA members. They're active, they vote and they contribute to campaigns, all signs of good citizenship.

I'm very serious...what is your degree or job? In other words, who in the back rooms pay your salary, or supplies your words? The communist garbage has been around for years and went out with the great communicator barely shouting "BOO! The country of Russia looked the fool at the hand of the "Master". Don't tell me you've started back with the funny weed!. From the way you talk, you seem very immature, how old are you? I really am trying to get into your head to figure out the thoughts you have that go against everything our country was founded on. Everything you say comes out of the DNC handbook...so how can we have a genuine discussion?

There is no crisis a little conservation can't do away with. Energy use is now down. Instead of the patently stupid solution of having the state of CA waste the surplus it had accumulated over many years buying expensive power so it could sell it much more cheaply to the public and then jawboning the public to conserve, Davis could have just let the price of electricity float to the level needed to pay for it. You would have seen conservation faster and on a larger scale than anything that has happened yet. But that rise in the cost of electricity very likely would have meant that Davis would not be re-elected governor next year. And that would mean he would not get the Democratic nomination for President in 2004. So Davis basically bankrupted the CA state treasury to satisfy his political ambitions. Thanks.
