Dear Westi: When Solomon prayed he prayed for wisdom, first; then god blessed him financially. When Jabez prayed his prayer there seems to be an element of mis-trust of riches i.e. he prayed for the Lords hand ( guidance , control, discipline, rebuke ) and that he would be kept from evil, almost as if there is a connection between the two. And last that there would be no grief over his enlargement. I am honestly asking you why you feel that God has enlarged your coast. I have been blessed also but am very comfortable driving an 11 year old car.( for example) I am thinking about trading and its simply killing me ; I just hate to give up a car that is not giving me any trouble; so I probably will not......In Christ gregor
