Protoge - Re: MTON

From what I see, this company is very solid and I see no reason to be short this stock.
Maybe on a blowoff top, you can pick off 2-4 ponts on a minor retrace at best.

My advise is to take them off your screen and find some easier targets.

"We expect second quarter revenue of approximately $57 to $59 million, slightly above our previous guidance. We feel that we will surpass the current First Call consensus analysts' estimate of $0.30 per share, and we now expect earnings for the second quarter ending June 30, 2001 to be in the range of $0.38 to $0.41 per share. In addition, we now expect earnings for the year ending December 31, 2001 to be in the range of $1.33 to $1.40"

Metro One previously announced a 3-for-2 stock split on May 16, 2001, to be distributed June 29, 2001.

Earnings are due late July.
I dont see any chance of any meaningful fall in the stock price in the near future.

They have a 2001 PE of around 42, which is not outrageous considering their outstanding performance in a very tough market environment.
