I would tend to take your post more seriously if there were a single item in it that was verifiable. "In Boulder Creek a local wirless intenet provider" What wireless provider? What speed of service are they offering? What are they charging for the monthly service? "In the Silicon Valley area a local provider is offering wireless DSL service for $10 a month." Which company is offering it? Is it ad-free? How is DSL a competitor to Ricochet except for the new lower price plans for local service areas? "places have attenae that provide service in the cafe and for about 100 yards out" How is this fixed wireless a competitor for Ricochet? What does it take to deploy this technology (that covers about 100 yards) over the entire Bay Area?
