I'll bite - how is 'excess server hops' to be considered in QOS? - not attempt to provide the service
if an initial latency measurement is too large or too variable?

Ray- I wasn't sure if you were talking about strictly VoIP over the cable plant or not. But VoIP is here and now. If you make a call to China using Qwest as your SP, you are on a VoIP network though you don't know it. It's 100% Cisco equipment so that may improve the QoS issues. -MikeM(From Florida)
