Interesting list of analyst opinions, and timing. It would be more interesting to include the time period of January through September 2000. That was when the stock was in its high plateau. Since then, it's been a steady slide down. I'd be interested if anyone downgraded then.

The other thing is, everyone knows analysts use words differently than the rest of the world. It is commonly understood that they mean "sell" when they give any recommendation other than "strong buy" (or whatever their highest rating is). So, a "buy" or below rating this year counts as good guidance. The interesting question is, "When did they reduce their recommendation from Strong Buy"? If they didn't do it till January 2001, it's a bit late.
