I'm not sure I agree with that assessment. The details are very sketchy. Is that a transistor speed, or a device speed. If that's a device speed, then you're right. If that's the transistor speed... then I'm not sure it's entirely correct when compared to Intel's demonstrated 30nm and 20nm transistors using conventional CMOS.
