I lied, from list only one I did was spitballs
when teacher's back was turned

burned ants a couple times, made me sick to my stomach
friend tortured cat, never played with him anymore
accidentally peed on kid from high atop tree, stopped
nasty friends smashed pumpkins, I soaped windows

I did hurl snowballs at oncoming traffic regularly
fave was hitting busses
we tried to hit it three times
once on lead, once broadside, once in rear
did it many times, not easy at 25 yrds

I love cats, love dogs, even bunnies

I find these SI boards more and more useless
camps are set into opposition increasingly
bulls and bears send each other into friendly camps
old econ and new econ send each other into familiar camps
simple investors object to risk of margin players
technology players mock rustbelt and traditional investors
option players think LTBH'ers are full of cowardice

nobody on VPorch saw a 60% Naz decline coming in Sept
imagine that, some smart people
do you guys all cheer each other along mindlessly?
I dont think so

but try to focus on the next threat in a dangerous world economy now
last Sept it was a rapid sudden investment decline, whamm
in May-June 2000 I concluded Fed overtightened
I expected a recession to ensue by late autumn
check my old posts
but I got swept up in the positive seasonal arguments on the boards

THESE BOARDS RARELY CONTRIBUTE TO NEW THINKING
RARELY LEAD TO EVENTUAL HEEDING OF CALAMITOUS INVESTMENT THREATS
I FAILED TO USE THE THREADS TO MY ADVANTAGE
OTHERS HAVE SUCCEEDED
BUT FAR TOO MANY HAVE LED OTHERS TO ADOPT TOO MUCH RISK

what is the likelihood of a 2ndHalf Recovery?
of a Naz resurgence by end of year?

what is the next big event on the horizon?
the entire world is entering a recession NOW
how will that play out in major indexes?

or do you sing along with the chorus of your fave friendly thread?

I say it is Japan, soon to seek unsupported levels
Japan is the major trade partner to all of East Asia
little do we know of turmoil currently in Asia
like Indonesia, Phillipines, NOW

watch out for the TSUNAMI
it could turn Faith to Fear in 3 days time
question is: which 3 days?
